📢 Imerys reports H1 2025 financial results and shares encouraging progress on the Emili lithium project. Despite ongoing global headwinds, Imerys delivered a resilient first-half performance, supported by a positive start to the year, disciplined pricing, cost savings, and growth in strategic segments like conductive additives. ♦ Stable revenue (-0.4% organic growth) amid US tariff-driven slowdown in global demand. ♦ Adjusted EBITDA at €281 million (+ 1.7% vs H1 2024) like-for-like, and excluding the contribution of joint ventures. ♦ Emili project update: Recent drilling campaigns and assessments reveal a world-class lithium deposit, expected to produce lithium for 50 years, with ~50% lower CO₂ emissions (and among the lowest water usage globally). The permitting process for the industrial pilot plant is ongoing with the goal of obtaining all necessary permits by the end of Q3 2025. Given the current lithium market conditions and the size of the capex required, Imerys has decided to explore partnership options. “Imerys’ performance in the first half is the result of a positive start to the year and a softer second quarter as sudden US tariff policy changes triggered global uncertainty and weakened demand. Successfully navigating this challenging landscape will require the same disciplined cost management and prudent cash allocation that the Group has consistently demonstrated throughout various market cycles,” said Imerys CEO Alessandro Dazza. ☀️ Ever wondered why some sunscreens feel sticky? 🧪 Most SPF products use UV filters to protect your skin by absorbing, reflecting, and scattering harmful rays. But here’s the thing: the waxes and oils that help dissolve those filters are often what leave sunscreen feeling greasy or heavy. 🌿 Nature has a better way. 🌋 Perlite, a volcanic mineral, can naturally improve how sunscreen feels on our skin. ImerCare® SunTouch, our latest innovation, harnesses the power of perlite, to help sunscreen: ✅ Spread more evenly for better protection ✅ Leave a soft, powdery, breathable finish, instead of a sticky one 👉 Learn more here: https://bit.ly/3TU1BJ9

🔥 Steel melts at 1,760°C. Glass at 1,650°C. Copper at 1,500°C. How do we manufacture the materials that build our world without everything… well, melting? 🧱 The answer: refractories—heat-resistant materials that protect industrial equipment from extreme heat. Without them, cars, glass, and smartphones wouldn’t be possible. At Imerys, we power this invisible yet vital industry by supplying the high-performance minerals—like alumina, andalusite, and kaolin—that make refractories stronger. It’s a reminder of the quiet power of minerals—small in size, massive in impact.⚡ Learn more about Imerys refractories: https://bit.ly/44xxuvU
