#CommunityEngagement | We have a winner! 🏆 The 2025 edition of #WindExperts has officially wrapped up in #VianaDoCastelo 📍 home of our 25 MW #WindFloatAtlantic pilot project! Created by OW Ocean Winds, this international educational program brings climate change awareness and #OffshoreWind into the classroom through hands-on learning and a creative challenge: building a model of a floating offshore wind turbine using recycled materials. ♻️💡 This year, with the support of the Câmara Municipal and 5 local schools, over 150 students took part — our biggest and most inspiring edition yet! And what can we say? Creativity, teamwork and innovation were everywhere! To celebrate, we held an awards ceremony to honour all participants and reward the winning team with a donation for their school. 👏 🎥 Watch how the next generation of wind experts brought their ideas to life in the video below! #ProudtobeOW #BeyondEnergy #FloatingWind #FutureGenerations

#ExcitingNews | The offshore substation (OSS) for our 500 MW Dieppe-Le Tréport project is officially installed at sea! ⚙️🇫🇷 While this marks the first visible element of offshore construction for the project, it follows months of intense preparation and offshore activity. From fabrication to marine operations, every step has required the coordination, expertise, and dedication of our teams, partners, and suppliers. 🤝🔧🚢 This latest achievement adds to the strong momentum OW has been building in France — where we are currently under simultaneous construction of three offshore wind farms. From first power at our 500 MW Yeu-Noirmoutier project earlier in the month, to the ongoing turbine assembly at our 30 MW EFGL pilot, and now this successful offshore installation for our Dieppe-Le Tréport project, progress continues across the country. It also reflects the trust placed in us by the French State to contribute to the country’s energy transition — supported by a robust French and European industrial supply chain. 🔋 Check out our project pages 👉 OW Ocean Winds FRANCE, Les Éoliennes en Mer Services, and LES EOLIENNES FLOTTANTES DU GOLFE DU LION 📸 Take a closer look at the final steps of the jacket and substation installation below! #Awards | Celebrating 20 years of global wind energy progress with Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC)! 🎉🌍 OW Ocean Winds was proud to be recognised as a Segment Champion at GWEC’s 20th Anniversary Dinner & Awards Ceremony in Lisbon — a special gathering to honour the people and partnerships that have helped shape the wind industry over the past two decades. 👏 Our Chief Business Development Officer, Rafael Munilla Muñoz, accepted the award on behalf of OW, remarked: “Offshore wind is key to the global energy transition — delivering clean power, industrial growth, and climate impact at scale. At OW, we’re proud to drive this momentum and to collaborate with associations like GWEC to turn potential into real progress." This day was all about celebrating #OffshoreWind and the collective progress we’ve made as a global community. Held in Portugal’s capital, at the #MAAT - Museum of Art + Architecture and Technology, the event was particularly meaningful for OW: not far from Lisbon, in Viana do Castelo, we developed #WindFloatAtlantic, our 25 MW first floating offshore wind pilot project and one of the first of its kind in the world. 🌊🇵🇹 Did you know...? Guests at the dinner also had the chance to experience the project up close through our virtual reality experience — offering a 360° view from the top of a floating turbine at sea. 🕶️⚡ Thank you to GWEC, the organisers, and everyone driving this mission forward — and congratulations to the entire wind industry on 20 years of meaningful impact. Here’s to the next 20! ⚡🌱 #ProudtobeOW #BeyondTomorrow
