Robin Wanders has been a cornerstone of Ocean Park Mechanical for an incredible 28 years. He credits OPM Founder Roger Hendrix for creating the positive, respectful atmosphere that makes OPM feel like family, and he genuinely enjoys working with both the office and site teams every day. Robin began his journey at OPM in 1997 as a ticketed journeyman, working with legends like George and his two sons as well as Steve Boak. He started his plumbing career in 1992, and says joining OPM and George’s crew was the most interesting start to a job he’d ever had. From there, Robin quickly moved up, becoming a Lead Hand by 2000 and then a Foreman in 2004 overseeing major projects such as King Edward Village, IKEA, Palloma 2, M2, and M3. In 2016, he transitioned into the office as a Project Manager, and for the past five years has served as General Manager—a path he wouldn’t change for anything. A fun fact about Robin… people always know when he’s around, because he’s often snapping his fingers.   Congratulations on 28 amazing years, Robin.
