A partnership based on innovation – Nufarm is excited to share a major milestone in our European collaboration with Agrauxine by Lesaffre: the upcoming launch of Nuxine, a new bio-fungicide developed to support growers as they adapt to changing regulatory and environmental demands. Since 2020, teams from both companies have worked closely across borders, combining Agrauxine’s expertise in biosolutions with Nufarm’s development and commercial strength in arable crops. The result is a product that reflects the best of both partners — and a shared commitment to more sustainable farming. Nuxine is designed to help manage key foliar fungal diseases in crops like oilseed rape, potatoes, and sugar beet. It plays an important role in resistance management and fits neatly into integrated pest management strategies aligned with EU sustainability goals and the UK’s National Action Plan. We believe real progress comes from working together. Nufarm is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Halstead as General Manager, Europe for Crop Protection. Joining on 1 June 2025, Jonathan brings extensive leadership experience to the role. He most recently served in senior commercial and strategic positions at Syngenta across European markets at both regional and country levels. His career has spanned a wide range of senior strategic, marketing, and commercial roles in Europe at regional and country level, across both the crop protection and seeds industries. Equipped with a PhD and an MBA, Jonathan’s deep expertise will be instrumental in driving Nufarm’s growth and delivering greater value to our customers and partners throughout Europe.
