  • Celebrating 40 years of putting members first 🧡 As we wrap up the 2025 financial year, AustralianSuper Chief Executive Paul Schroder reflects on this milestone year, highlighting the Fund’s positive investment returns and service improvements to better support members. “It’s a terrific moment to reflect on our heritage as one of Australia’s oldest, and now its largest* super fund, with one enduring focus: to put members first – you first – always,” Paul says. • It’s tax time – but for over a million low-income Australians, the refund they deserve is missing. At AustralianSuper, we believe every worker deserves a fair go – especially when it comes to super tax concessions. The Low-Income Superannuation Tax Offset (LISTO) was designed so that low-income earners get a tax concession for saving into super like everyone else does. Without the LISTO, the rate of tax low-income earners pay on their super would be similar to, or even more than, the rate they pay on their wages. But the LISTO hasn’t kept pace with rising tax brackets, so more than a million workers earning $37-45,000 are completely missing out. Since 2020, that’s up to $2.5 billion in extra tax paid on super. That’s why AustralianSuper, alongside the Super Members Council and ASFA | The Voice of Super, is calling on the Government to make the LISTO available to workers earning up to $45,000 and link eligibility to the top of the second tax bracket, so LISTO keeps up with future changes. 📈We’re also asking for an increase to the LISTO payments cap and to link it to the Super Guarantee rate ($500 to $810 for FY26). 👉 Let’s fix this gap in the system. • During periods of market volatility, it’s important to remember that this is a normal part of investing and markets have historically recovered over time. While it can be unsettling, here are a few things to keep in mind: 🔶 Focus on the long-term: staying invested in a diversified portfolio over the long run can help grow your super. 🔶 Stick to your investment strategy: consider your risk tolerance and long-term investment goals. 🔶 Stay calm: try not to watch the market every day and avoid making rushed decisions. 🔶 Help and guidance is available: consider speaking to a financial adviser before making any changes. 🔶 We’re investing for you: AustralianSuper’s team of over 400 investment experts are experienced in actively managing members’ money through different market conditions and events.
