Been playing since day 1 (pc, PS & mobile) and I have truly fallen in love with this game! My only complaint is that the premium shop items are wayyy too pricey (and no, I’m not talking about the outfits). The sparkling cubes & prismana orbs are ridiculously priced. 1 sparkling cube for $30 ?! Absolutely not. 10 for $30 should be the deal. And does this affect gameplay? Absolutely. As someone who is a heavy collector and strives to 100% every game, the only way I can do that is by purchasing these cubes as the free ones are scarce once you reach higher level. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to support the devs, especially seeing as this is a free game but there’s simply no justifying the price tag on some of these NECESSARY items. The sparkling cube is the only way to guarantee you get a perfect Aniimo and also the color variants of the prismanas which obviously you’re going to want considering they are the rarest in the game. Let’s also talk about the favoritism towards APAC servers. They are constantly getting sparkling cubes in the mysterious vendor shop for FREE IN GAME CURRENCY. Now they also get a new shop feature where they get probably close to $300 worth of items for $50. How is this fair? Do I recommend this game? Definitely. Do I think it will last long? Not unless they fix their prices and stop with the favoritism. If you continue to only cater to the whales then your average player count is going to fall drastically and you’ll be left with a dead game and no player base.

This game is what Pokemon should have done 10 years ago. Pokemon got complacent and then got jealous when someone tried to do better than them. Aniimo has done an amazing job at taking the genre we all know and love and turning it to 11. Palmon was the first to step up to Pokemon and come out with a creature catching game that surpassed Pokemon and I do love palmon… but the whole shooting the creatures you catch with rocket launchers or plasma rifles kinda left a disconnect for me with the creatures. With Pokemon there was a love you got from the process of battling your target and trying over and over to catch it. That’s what made Pokemon so lovable. Aniimo does need to make catching a very very small margin harder. I caught most the creatures in the game by just hunting them down and launching pods endlessly at everything around. I understand that this is required to acquire a large amount of the target aniimo so you have a better shot at getting an elite or perfect. But I’ve not really had a “challenge” catching anything except maybe budclaw when he digs. Other than just that I love the game. There is a lot of menus to navigate through as well that can be a bit overwhelming but I do love how there is a lot to do and accomplish.

Love this game. Already find the basic gameplay, addictive, pleasurable, entertaining. The interface I’m sure is challenging for the game studio as they’re making it cross platform with PC, game consoles, and iOS. Yet that remains its biggest weakness. The interface can be quite clunky and non-intuitive. Instructions for quests are often anemic and leaving the User confused. I just completed an event quest in the Homeland that was completely mislabeled, and I was stuck on for the last few days. Thank goodness for Internet searches, or I would’ve been stuck permanently because the quest item was completely misnamed. That type of error should not be found in a final product. But with these small imperfections in mind, the overall game is quite polished, beautiful and fun to play. A note I do find their monetization model refreshing in that most of it is cosmetic. This is not a pay to win game model. Finally a game studio who is not out to strip your wallet clean. I wish them success as they’re finally producing a game for gamers to enjoy rather than just pad their pockets. My prediction is this is a game that will last quite some time. Their challenge will be keeping enough content to keep players engaged. I only took off one star for the interface and the errors in the recent homeland event. A shame because it should be a five star review.
