Buddy offers a $9.99 monthly renewing and a $49.99 yearly renewing subscription to unlock Premium functionality.
The purchase will be charged from your iTunes account if you choose to buy the Buddy Premium subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the user settings in iTunes after the purchase. The subscription period ends with the same kind of subscription you already bought to the same price unless you turn off your subscription 24 hours before it renews. It is not possible to cancel your current subscription during the time your subscription is active.

Spring’s in the air! Time for fresh starts, a tidy-up… and sorting a few things out in Buddy.
This one’s a classic bugs-and-improvements update. Not flashy, but quietly important — the sort your future self will be glad we did.
- Fixed: Transaction type wasn’t always picked correctly. Now it behaves.
- Fixed: The app could crash when logging in after logging out. Not the kind of welcome back we were going for.
- Fixed: Connecting an anonymous account with Apple could sometimes create a brand new account and make it look like your data had vanished. Awkward. That’s sorted now.
Plus the usual mix of smaller fixes and under‑the‑hood tweaks to keep everything running smoothly.

- Fixed: We’ve squashed a bug where new wallets could sometimes be created when you added a transaction. As much as we love the enthusiasm, Buddy shouldn’t be opening new wallets for you.

A small but shiny update with a mix of polish, fixes, and a few details we just couldn’t stop thinking about:
- Improved: The dark mode app icon has had a subtle makeover. Same icon, just looking a bit sharper than before.
- Fixed: Tapping the date field when creating or editing renewable transactions was harder than it should’ve been. It should now work smoothly.
- Fixed: A few tweaks to the brand-new Settings page, thanks to all your helpful feedback.

February’s here — the worst bit (January) is officially behind us. To celebrate, we’ve given a few often-ignored corners of Buddy some well-deserved love:
- New: A refreshed Settings screen with a clean new look. It might not be the most visited part of the app, but it’s nicer now — and it supports Dynamic Type (text size now follows your device’s font settings).
- New: A modernised budget picker. It should feel familiar, just cleaner and more polished.
- Fixed: A bunch of smaller fixes and improvements across the app.

- Fixed: A bug where certain wallets couldn't be removed due to a false message about recurring transactions. That's resolved now.

As we head into the holiday season, we’ve done a bit of last-minute tidying up to make sure Buddy behaves while you focus on the important stuff (like biscuits and pressie shopping).
- Fixed: We squashed some bugs where the currently selected budget wasn’t always being used — for example when creating or importing transactions. That should be sorted now.
- Fixed: The app could crash when turning on demo data. Not very festive — now fixed.
- Fixed: Some wallets may have gone missing earlier. Good news: they’ve been found and put back where they belong.
