All you need is your phone number - no usernames or logins needed. Easily view your contacts on WhatsApp and start messaging. And what's more, you can easily link your other devices, including iPads, for seamless connectivity.
High quality voice and video calls
Enjoy free, secure video and voice calls with up to 32 people for free. Your calls work across devices, even on slower connections, using your phone or tablet’s Internet service.
Group chats to keep you in contact
Stay close to friends and family through end-to-end encrypted group chats and calls. Share messages, photos, videos and documents across mobile, tablet, and desktop. You can also use call links and screen-sharing to make group calls and collaboration easy.
Stay connected in real time
You can share your location with those in your individual or group chats while using WhatsApp on your mobile phone. Or record a voice message for those moments when just text isn't good enough.
Share daily moments through Status
Share your everyday life with those who matter. With Status you can share text, photos, video, and GIF updates that disappear after 24 hours. You're always in control of who sees your status. Just choose who you want to share it with - all your contacts or selected ones. And bring your everyday to life.

It’s a semi-horrible user experience.1. Bring back the old status settings of being to view all your status and select which one(s) to delete. 2. The previous WhatsApp allowed one to search and view which status they wanted to. Current updates involve a lot of unnecessary scrolling as the search option was removed.
an opportunity for improvement.

i wish whatsapp could display the exchange of calls between two individuals or groups as part of the chat, rather than it solely being displayed in the call log. this helps with organizing and filtering, and also avoids a cluster of calls from different people all being stored in one place this causing less confusion and an increase in efficiency. on top of this it’s helps to make whatsapp more user friendly.for example: i am are using whatsapp, i open a chat and this chat happens to be between me and “James”, after opening the chat i click on the “James” contact name at the top of our chat and it takes me to sub-tab with the heading “contact info” at the top, in this sub-tab below “James” number and the icons for audio, video and search there is a new icon in between “media, links and docs” and “starred messages” called “calls” that takes me to another sub-tab that shows the call log between me and “James”. it will show missed calls, received calls and outgoing calls as well as the time each call started and the duration.
Why is my WhatsApp greeen
mark mannell
Everything about WhatsApp is amazing, I like the phone calls the way the app runs and everything else about it, but. The fact that my iPhones WhatsApp is green bothers me so much that I don’t even want to use WhatsApp anymore. Opening WhatsApp on my IPHONE is so disturbing to be. It is literally a crime. All the other iPhone users I have should this too are also disappointed at the fact that it is green. The blue was aesthetically pleasing and the Main reason why having an iPhone for WhatsApp was good. I don’t understand why you decided to make the WhatsApp on an iPhone green. But it is NOT appealing to the eye.😤if you are going to change the color of WhatsApp at least give us an option to change the color of it, whether it’s green, blue, orang, pink. Just give us an option to change the color of our WhatsApp!!
Picture Quality!
Eminem’s wife
WhatsApp used to be reliable for sharing photos, but the picture quality has become noticeably worse, especially on Status updates. Images look over-compressed and blurry, which defeats the purpose of sharing moments visually. It would also be very helpful to add an option to temporarily disable Status updates — not mute others, but a simple toggle where I can pause posting statuses without deleting or hiding the feature entirely. Sometimes you just want a break. These seem like small changes, but they would greatly improve the user experience. Please consider revisiting image compression and giving users more control over Statuses.
We update the app regularly to fix bugs, optimize performance and improve the experience. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
