I love this app. It has been so helpful knowing what stage of my cycle I am in, especially in navigating my mentality during the month. And I love the witchy horoscopes etc. The app design is also amazing. However, it would be helpful to be able to log or edit our ovulation day/time like we can with logging our period days. I feel most women have an idea of when they’re ovulating which isn’t always accurately reflected by the app. Being able to log when I know I’m ovulating would help the app better reflect what part of my cycle I am in. I also think the partner feature needs to provide better information about what the cycle stages are and mean, and offer tips and advice on how to support their partner. The whimsical “day at a glance” type notifications each day are cute but offer little practical info or advice. Even something simple like “they’re peak luteal today, send them a message to let them know you’re thinking of them”.

LOVED this app, but SO disappointed now…

I first downloaded stardust a few weeks ago and was absolutely loving it—the effective and pretty easy to use layout, cute little illustrations and gorgeous witchy/occult aesthetic… but the recent ‘update’ or whatever the developers just did to the app has completely changed—and in my opinion, ruined—the look of it. The visual style may not seem like much of an important thing, but it was a huge part of the reason why I chose this app over the many other period tracker apps out there. I’m sorry to sound so harsh (since I really do appreciate the app and the fantastic women who created it) but the new aesthetic is really terrible compared to the old one. The app cover is just a pink ball, which is confusing and nowhere near as nice as the beautiful ring of colourful moon phases that was the old cover. The text isn’t as nice, the illustrations are kind of gaudy, ugly and just really tacky in appearance, as if the artists just used some bad clip art and coloured it in. The previous icons were simple, cute and understated and worked really well for the app’s vibe/aesthetic and purpose. The one thing I am appreciative of in this new version is the increased number of options in the categories when adding a period update, like the wider range of ‘feelings’ to choose from, or ‘flow’, which I find much more helpful than the more limited options before. Stardust team, if you read this, please know that I really do appreciate your creating this app and what it does, but I think it would be so much better to revert back to the previous art style for all of your icons. It is much, MUCH more visually appealing than how it is now.
Great app - would love some additional features

I love the fact that this app is developed by women for a change. It’s cute and fun for a change. I’m not into astrology but I like the facts about what’s happening hormonally and other fun period facts. In saying that, as someone with endometriosis and PMDD its difficult to track symptoms over a period of time efficiently with the way the data is presented. If it was presented in a way that was easier to read it would help track period related chronic illnesses. Also - it would be an amazing addition if you could set a reminder or notification for a certain day/phase of your cycle. With PMDD certain medications are often used at the luteal phase of the cycle to control mood symptoms so it would be super helpful to be reminded the luteal phase is starting for that reason, or just a reminder to be more mindful at that time. I think the addition of that feature could be invaluable for PMDD folks and their partners/support systems or others who need to be aware of certain phases of their cycle for medical reasons.

Accuracy
lyssacyber
I love this app and its features, and I prefer the symptom tracking over the *pink feather* app but unfortunately I don’t find it to be anywhere near as accurate. I have transferred all of my data over and have been using both apps for the past few months while I test Stardust, but I find that Stardust is really far off with predictions. I sometimes have irregular periods but it seems to make these predictions based off the last cycle length, so when i do have the occasional long or short cycle the next one is predicted for the same amount of time. For example: Stardust is currently saying 14 days until my next cycle, while the other is saying 1 day, which based off my pmdd symptoms the other app seems to be more correct.Again I love this app but until the accuracy is patched I’m going to continue to use both.I would also love to see some features for endo/pcos and pmdd in this app as that’s something I think should be considered.

Hello, Thanks for leaving a review and for your feedback! So sorry to hear you've found the app to be inaccurate. Are you on manual or smart tracking? If manual, could you please double-check that your average cycle and period lengths are set to your specifications? If you're on smart predictions, the app should self-adjust– please reach out to support@stardust.app and we'll be able to troubleshoot this there. All the best, The Stardust Team
Just a few minor updates and intergalactic tune-ups. If Stardust is helping you decode the mysteries of your cycle, leave us a rating and review—we love compliments.
