Responsibilities

  • Identify and shape transformative, long-term opportunities for Threads, setting vision and strategy that influences Meta's broader direction.
  • Build consensus across organizations and senior leadership, bringing clarity to ambiguous opportunities; execute with minimal oversight and set new standards.
  • Critically evaluate when AI is (and isn't) the optimal solution for Threads; champion AI-native strategies including comprehensive evals and data strategies.
  • Advise and mentor leaders through ideation, development, and launch of innovative Threads experiences alongside world-class engineers and designers.
  • Attract, build, and develop a talented, diverse team of product managers and leaders with emphasis on AI-native capabilities.
  • Reimagine workflows using AI tools to transform team velocity at scale; foster a culture of rapid experimentation and learning.
  • Scale AI best practices, responsible AI use, and reusable workflows across Threads teams so organizational capability compounds over time.
  • Orchestrate complex execution across multiple teams, combining AI automation with strategic human oversight.
  • Set expectations for PM technical capability, including fluency with AI-enabled tools to build products.
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements; ensure teams understand system/architecture trade-offs impacting UX and business outcomes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts at the right altitude for executive, engineering, and cross-functional audiences.
  • Define success metrics and establish evals as a first-class practice for AI-powered Threads experiences; drive decisions through user insights, quantitative analysis, and AI-accelerated experimentation.
  • Understand Threads' strategic and competitive position and deliver industry-leading products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years leading and growing high-performing product management teams
  • 10+ years managing complex, global-scale projects
  • VP or C-level experience in a multi-function product organization operating at scale
  • Track record running executive-level reviews and shaping business model evolution
  • Proven ability to drive strategic projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Strong data fluency and experience scaling organizations

Compensation

$483,000/year to $508,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
